What it's all about
I initially started a blog in 2021 when my nomadic adventures began. It started as a way to keep friends and family informed of my travels and to allow them to live vicariously through me. Now that I've been on the road for almost three years with my dog, I'm inspired to share more than what I just do each week.
Everyone wants to travel, but most people travel for an extended weekend, or maybe a few weeks to a remote destination. I travel full time and I "slow travel" staying at each location about a week and only drive a few hours between sites. I aim to stay in each state for at least a month.
For the first 18 months of my nomadic life I stayed in long term rentals. In February of 2023 I started living full time in my 2022 R-Pod 192 pulled by a F150. My 50 lb shelter mix rides shot gun and is a fantastic travel companion.
